Wynwood did a major 2.5 month renovation at our home and did a great job! We didn’t know where to start with our Reno since there was so much that needed to be fixed, we were overwhelmed and knew it was going to be expensive. We had heard all of the horror stories about contractors in the world so we needed to find a trustworthy place above all else. My husband and I are insanely busy with work and two small kids and can’t take on a small project ourselves let alone a massive one like this. Thankfully we found Wynwood from a Facebook recommendation and met with them. We LOVED the idea that they were going to take on all of the planning and stress and time and complexities of our Reno - everything from the design to permits to demo to the scheduling all trades to the purchasing of items, painting, cleaning! literally everything we could think of was done for us. All we had to do was tell them our style, pick out our hardware and meet with them once weekly to discuss progress. They are amazing at communication; daily updates and pictures, a color coded spreadsheet calendar with who is coming where and what is being done. You never have to wonder if and when anyone is showing up today or your project is dragging along; everything is agreed upon ahead of time. When issues arise like in all Reno’s, they’re very good about giving options and explaining the outcomes. You won’t feel pressured in any way that they are trying to push you in the wrong direction. We completed our Reno on schedule and are very happy with the results and the detail put into it. If you are looking for a place you can trust to take care of your house as if it were their own, I’d highly reccommend Wynwood! 💖

Sadly, my husband and I did not have a great experience with Wynwood. I don't enjoy writing negative reviews, but I want to give others a heads-up about our experience. We ordered flooring through Wynwood for a straightforward project. We were installing it ourselves and simply needed the product delivered to our home. The product was initially delayed arriving at their warehouse. Throughout the process, I had to repeatedly follow up to receive updates, as communication was essentially non-existent. Once the product arrived, Wynwood didn't reach out to me. I emailed them and learned that they had forgotten that we had paid for delivery and told us to pick it up ourselves. After I clarified that delivery was included, we were told it would be delivered the following week. Unfortunately, weeks passed with no further updates. I continued following up, but our project timeline could not wait indefinitely. In the end, we made other flooring arrangements and requested a full refund, which was not provided. Overall, the biggest frustrations were the lack of communication, the repeated need to follow up for information, and the absence of accountability for a delay that ultimately stretched to over two months. At times, it felt as though our order had simply been forgotten. On a positive note, we are happy with the flooring product itself. I am glad to know others have had a better experience and I do believe Wynwood may have learned from this situation.
Very friendly staff! So helpful and informative
We engaged Wynwood Renovations for a ~$120,000 kitchen renovation based on representations of coordinated design, professional project management, and defined timelines. The project, originally targeted for completion in late September, extended for several months with shifting schedules and inconsistent communication. A critical design issue emerged. The cabinet line was recommended, specified, and ordered by their in-house team (for which additional design fees were paid), yet the final layout did not properly accommodate the appliances we had already purchased. This required additional expense and changes to the approved plan. At termination, deficiencies remained unresolved. We retained another contractor to complete and correct the work. For an engagement at this price point, the level of coordination and accountability did not meet expectations. Future clients should ensure design responsibility and execution standards are clearly defined before proceeding. For the record: The remaining funds were withheld for uncompleted work and deficiencies, for which no warranties were provided. The individual mentioned was hired only after their employment with Wynwood had ended and after our contract was terminated. My original review is intended to provide an honest account of the coordination and execution issues experienced during this project.
