Jeff, Leslie-Ann and the rest of the Melanson Homes team exceeded expectations. Coming in and redesigning a kitchen and entire main floor to a beautiful, modern and much more useful space. All steps were very organized, and communicated clearly. From the design, through demolition, and reconstruction we felt fully supported and heard. Providing peace of mind. Thanks Team

Melanson developed our basement and did an excellent job. Their design ideas at the onset created a new layout we hadn’t considered, which allowed us to include a sizeable gym and bedroom. They met each of our requests during the project and executed the project on time and on budget. We found management and the staff to be super helpful and friendly.

Melanson built us a carriage home that we absolutely love. The craftsmanship was top notch. The attention to detail was superb and every detail had to be perfect. It was built on time and any questions we had were promptly answered. We are enjoying our forever home in Calgary now. M&K

I’ve worked in project management in the oil & gas industry for decades, so I know a well planned & executed project when I see one, & my major home reno was it. The quality of work exceeded my highest hopes. The trades were careful of the walls, carpets, etc that were not to be touched. Management was prompt to resolve any queries & concerns. They were on budget & slightly ahead of schedule. I recommend them without reservation.

Melanson Homes and Renovations exceeded our expectations in every way. They built a beautiful carriage home for us. It has incredible curb appeal (for a back lane, lol). Our neighbours, family, and friends have complimented on the modern design and quality workmanship. Most instantly noticed the high-quality kitchen cabinets with dovetail joint drawers. These were crafted by their sister company Ellie Cabinet Co. During the construction, our neighbour, who is a retired engineer, told us that we got a good builder. This unprompted praise made us extremely pleased and happy. It confirmed our belief that we were in very capable hands with Melanson Homes and Renovations. Anyone who has gone through a renovation or new build process knows the design phase can be the easiest because it is the beginning of a new and exciting journey. The construction phase can be the toughest because it is likely when issues come to light. We had a few minor issues during the construction phase. Melanson Homes & Renovations communicated them upfront and offered possible solutions to us. All issues were resolved to our satisfaction. We were delighted with how well the construction went. We were particularly impressed by the experienced and hard-working site supervisor and team. They treated us like family. We were also impressed by the quality of most of the contractors. The carriage home was completed in 7 months, which also included the demolition of an existing garage. Throughout the process, we were updated on the construction progress via the Buildertrend app that is licensed by Melanson Homes & Renovations. Photos and notes were shared, and messages were exchanged on the app. Melanson Homes & Renovations was mindful of and helped us to keep track of our budget. In our opinion, the costing for our carriage home was very fair and worth every dollar for the quality delivered. It was easy to keep track of our budget with the Buildertrend app. Changes and upgrades were quoted through change orders which we would approve or reject. This app is a great tool for project financial tracking, organization and communication. This app contributed to the wonderful customer experience. We highly recommend Melanson Homes & Renovations and would absolutely call on them for renovation in a part of our main house. Melanson Homes & Renovations conducts their business with excellence, honesty, integrity and warmth. Communication is key for them. These qualities are evident at every level, from the owners to the leadership team and staff and to contractors. Many thanks to Murray, Frank, Gerald, and Jeff VR. We are especially grateful to Jeff and Leslie-Ann Melanson for their honesty, personal approach, and for bringing our vision to life!
