We recently had a complete bathroom renovation, and we could not be happier with the entire experience—truly five-star from start to finish! From the very first consultation, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in bringing our vision to life. The architectural renderings were stunning and made it effortless to see exactly how the finished space would look. Their guidance with colour and material selection was invaluable, helping us make confident decisions every step of the way. The craftsmanship is impeccable. Every detail reflects precision and care, and the quality of the work exceeded our highest expectations. On top of that, the crew maintained a level of cleanliness and respect in our home that made the renovation process far less stressful than we ever imagined. Communication was seamless throughout, timelines were adhered to, and the finished bathroom is absolutely gorgeous—functional, beautiful, and thoughtfully designed. We wholeheartedly recommend this team to anyone looking for a renovation experience that is professional, smooth, and results-driven. A truly exceptional, five-star experience from start to finish! Homeowner ratings and reviews
We recently worked with this XG Renovations on a pretty big 11 week project, and we’re really happy with how everything turned out. XG Renovations came out on top after researching and consulting with several companies in york region / GTA. They installed new hardwood floors, redid our stairs, baseboards, and doors, removed popcorn ceilings on every floor, replaced windows, installed custom cabinetry in our bedrooms and fully renovated our kitchen and 2 of our bathrooms. What we appreciate most is their quality standard and how well everything reflects our vision. Their quality of the work really shows in all the details—from the design prototypes down to installing the flooring and tiling to the finishes. In our custom cabinets, they included a fun hidden passage for our kids, which has honestly become one of the best parts of the whole renovation. It’s such a unique touch and was executed really well. The pot lights they installed throughout the house has also made a huge difference in how the space feels—much brighter and more comfortable. XG Renovations (Jennifer, Jimmy and the team) was was amazing to work with. Everyone on the team was clearly committed to high standards, and it shows in their work. There were no surprises along the way—everything (payment schedules, project timelines, etc) was transparent, and they kept us updated regularly so we always knew what was going on. The project stayed on budget and was completed on time, which we really appreciated (and were surprised based on reno stories we've heard from others). Jennifer and Jimmy were also very patient with us when it came to design changes, add-ons or design decisions, which we were so grateful for. We are so happy with our "new" home and would absolutely reach out to XG Renovations for future projects. We highly recommend them for any minor or major renovations (including everything in between)!
BEAUTIFUL New Kitchen that we have been waiting for quite some time. Where do we begin. We have been wanting to renovated our kitchen for a few years now and have always been hesitant on how to start. Finding a trustworthy contractor has always been top of mind for my family, and after hearing about so many disasters with other contractors, we had always pushed this project back. It took me some time to do some research and put our trust on choosing XG Renovations, but we are SO thrilled to have them complete our kitchen. We chose XG Renovations based on our first initial meeting and the conversation we had, which flowed naturally for us. At no time did they pressure us into choosing them. Most importantly, it was great to hear it was a family run business. Jennifer and Jimmy have been very transparent throughout the entire process of our design and project. Jennifer's communication was excellent. Being a project manager myself, I appreciated the time she spent going through all the fine details of our kitchen renovation and plans. She laid out the 3D design for us and listened to us on our needs, as well, accommodated any changes we required. I had a ton of questions, as this was the first major renovation project for our family, and I did not have any previous referrals for this company prior, so I wanted to ensure we were making the right decisions. It was a total space kitchen Renovation for us as we put in new tiles, potlights, added a pantry (as we did not have our microwave mounted before- *** please see before photo of our old kitchen) Payment summary was very clear from the start and it allowed us to plan, budget and prepare ahead of time. During the entire project, Jimmy and Jennifer were able to let us know what time their team would be on site and what they would be working on a daily basis. The completion for our kitchen renovation was seamless, as we were lucky and did not run into any complications or unexpected issues (as expected in many renovations). As the project progressed, there were small details we noticed and wanted fixed or changed and Jimmy always responded promptly. Jimmy and his team also help accommodate last minute requests we had and was very flexible. The workers who were on site were always respectful and kept the space clean. Protective floor mats were placed throughout and at no time did they make any mess within our living space during the renovation. They honestly were hard workers and didn't waste any time during our Renovations. The project was completed in just over 3 weeks, which was amazing for us, since we have 2 children and it was challenging to live out of our living/dining space. Our kitchen isn't the largest, but we are extremely happy with how it turned out. It looks SO refreshed, bright and literally something you can see out of a magazine. The fridge was the only appliance we didn't change (as it was only 3 years old), but that can be easily replaced when required. Overall, we are very pleased and happy with our New Kitchen! We highly recommend XG Renovations for your Kitchen renovations. We will definitely keep them in mind for any future projects we may have. Thank You Jennifer and Jimmy for this wonderful experience. It was honestly stress free and we are super happy with the entire process!! THANK YOU XG RENOVATIONS!
We just had our kitchen renovated by XG Renovations and we are very happy with the results. Throughout the entire process, Jennifer and Jimmy were transparent about the timelines, scheduling, scope, and the progression of the project during the renovation. Jennifer was thorough in going through every detail in the design of our kitchen, and Jimmy and his team were friendly, efficient, and respectful of the living spaces outside of the work area. It was very easy to communicate with Jennifer and Jimmy during the entire process, and any concerns that came up were addressed in a timely and satisfying manner. I would definitely recommend XG Renovations to anyone looking to renovate their kitchen in the future.
It has been a month since the completion of our master bedroom renovation and we are very satisfied and thrilled with it. Jennifer was so meticulous to guide us through from the planning, fixtures purchases and selection criteria as well as down to the color schemes. We are very impressed with her 3D plan bearing all details on material use and also provide visually what the renovation will be. Their renovation team is very punctual in delivery of the entire project. And in actual fact ahead of the promised completion time. Jennifer and Jimmy kept us abreast on the progress of the project throughout via close communication and it was vital to its success As this was our first renovation to our house. It was an eye opener for us to embark on this project and Jennifer and Jimmy gave us a very positive and satisfactory assurance.
