Stephen recently helped us solve a few tricky issues we encountered during our basement renovation. After lowering and underpinning, we had a challenge with insufficient headroom to rebuild the stairs, so Stephen and his crew did the structural work of removing some load bearing joists and installing two new posts and an LVL beam. He also helped us level out our concrete floor and install LVP flooring. Stephen does not cut corners and does everything the right way, and he also brings creative ideas and a keen design eye. We’re already thinking of the next project we can get Stephen’s help with!

Stephen is a total pro. He's not just skilled, but friendly and professional with excellent customer service. He fixed an old chain link fence in my mother's backyard in autumn 2025. It was a pretty small job but he treated it like an important job. He was upfront about the costs and the possible variables (which were realistic given the nature of the damage) but never oversold or upscaled the work. We did actually get two other quotes (from other companies) for the work but Stephen's was the most straightforward and the most affordable, and he was the easiest to coordinate with (i.e. responsive with good communication). The work was excellent. You could tell he knew what he was doing. Also, when I asked him to make a minor tweak in one section he did it without hesitation. I would definitely hire Stephen again for repair and renovation projects.
Following some urgent plumbing work, we hired Stephen to do LVT and tile install in our basement, as well as painting. There were some quirks to problem solve in our hundred year old house, and Stephen was flexible and proposed solutions. We had an excellent experience - good communication, budget conscientiousness, and quality work. Our restored basement looks fantastic. We won't hesitate to reach to Stephen again for future work.
Had a privacy fence installed and it is great. I am very pleased with it. Also had a gate installed at the side of the house, again very satisfied. I would highly recommend this company. Very efficient, work done quickly and when done great clean up job.
“Had my fence done recently and I’m really happy with it. Great quality work, done on time, and it looks amazing. Would definitely recommend!”
