We used SLG for the complete renovation of the ground floor of our home in Casa Loma and we are extremely pleased with the outcome. The project involved extensive renovation of an older home, whilst preserving some of the original features, the team constantly showed attention to detail and pride in their work. Communication was clear and they worked to resolve any issues quickly. The quality of the workmanship is excellent. From structural work to finishings the results exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to recommend SLG.

Working with Giacomo and the SLG Contracting team on our full-home addition was an absolute pleasure and an exceptional experience. From our initial consultation through to completion of the project, their commitment to excellence never wavered, fully validating our trust in their work. Over the course of six months, they transformed our traditional 1958 bungalow by seamlessly adding a second storey to include three spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms, and a garage, while completely redesigning the main floor and exterior. Their incredible craftsmanship shines through in every room—from the open-concept kitchen and bathrooms with stunning glass showers to the custom staircase and beautiful hardwood floors. The final result is better than we could have ever imagined, leaving us with a bright, spacious modern interior and a flawless, cohesive exterior. While a renovation of this scale is inevitably challenging, Giacomo’s leadership and calm demeanor completely eliminated our anxiety. He patiently walked us through every decision, answered our countless questions, and always kept us informed. He managed all the trades perfectly, keeping everything running smoothly and on schedule. Even when unexpected surprises or our requested upgrades affected the budget, his honest advice and fair pricing ensured we received true value for every dollar spent. Yet, beyond his exceptional skill and professionalism, it is Giacomo’s integrity, endless patience, and genuine kindness that truly set him apart and provided such a reassuring presence. On-site, Joe and Daniel were the perfect complement to Giacomo’s leadership, bringing immense expertise, professionalism, and a positive attitude to the job every day. Faced with the unique challenge of blending our older home with a new build, they handled every structural and design transition with absolute precision. With their extensive knowledge, they caught potential issues early and found innovative solutions without ever compromising on quality. In an industry built on trust, SLG Contracting stands entirely alone. They truly redefined our whole renovation experience, turning a large-scale build into a rewarding journey. We couldn’t have asked for a more talented, dedicated team to bring our dream home to life. By the end, they felt like family, and what started as a construction project became something far more meaningful. With heartfelt gratitude and appreciation, we want to thank Giacomo, Joe and Daniel and their “team of dreams” (Damian, Sef, Cameron, Suhib, Dave, Mike, Darek, Gianmarco, Ethan, Nelson and all the other amazing trades). They delivered on every promise and built a beautiful space we are absolutely thrilled to call home! We wholeheartedly recommend SLG Contracting to anyone planning a renovation, regardless of scale or complexity.

Where do we begin…hiring Giac and the SLG team was the best decision we made for our reno. From day one, Giac was honest, reliable, and somehow always had a solution for every challenge that came our way. No matter how many questions or crazy ideas I threw at him, he handled it all with patience and a great sense of humour. He made what could have been a stressful reno so much more enjoyable. The quality of the work speaks for itself, and it's obvious Giac truly cares about what he does. Our home never felt like just another job. He cared about getting every detail right just as much as we did, and it showed…he even made sure I got all of my arches. Somehow, he made my vision come to life without ever telling me I'd officially lost it. Somewhere along the way, we gained more than an amazing contractor, we gained a friend. We'll miss having him around (although he's probably relieved he won't be getting any more "quick question..." texts from us...for now 😛). Thank you for bringing our dream home to life, we can't wait to have you back for our next adventure!

He left us with peace of mind and stress free because he was on top of everything from organizing contractors to overlooking the job. Punctual with time frame , well organized, polite, respectful and made us feel like we were his first priority all the time, even though he had many others to tend to. I recommend Giacomo Slg contracting to all friends and family. You wont be disappointed. Once again Thank you for your professionalism. Loris and Josie
