Working with Mateo and Juan at Imperio Construction on our bungalow renovation was an incredible experience. Our project was highly complex—converting a flat ceiling into a cathedral ceiling, reconfiguring the main floor into a spacious open-concept living/kitchen area with two ensuites, and completely redesigning the basement layout (bedrooms, laundry, and bathroom). Mateo provided full service from design to permit approval. He handled the entire permit application process smoothly and helped us secure it without hassle. Throughout construction and city inspections, he was always available to provide expert explanations and assistance whenever questions arose. From the start, Mateo listened carefully to our ideas, integrated our references, and provided expert engineering advice. He was remarkably precise and rigorous—conducting on-site measurements and expertly designing the necessary structural support beams and posts. He was exceptionally patient, refining the drawings through multiple iterations until they were perfect. Mateo's communication was flawless. He responded to emails extremely fast, providing clear and expert advice whenever I had questions. On top of their outstanding service, their pricing was very fair and reasonable, offering fantastic value overall. Thanks to Imperio Construction’s expertise and dedication, our vision became our dream home. Highly recommended！

I highly recommend Juan and his team! Juan has personally helped me twice with building permit applications, and both experiences were excellent. He is very professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and easy to communicate with. He understands the permit process very well and made everything clear and straightforward. Definitely someone you can trust. I would highly recommend Juan and his team to anyone who needs help with building permits or related services!

We engaged Juan and his team at Imperio to do our basement renovation which included an office/studio, gym, family room and bathroom this summer. We couldn't be more happy with the outcome, and also their process. Our project came in on budget and ahead of schedule, and there were no surprises. I had some very specific requirements for my office / studio including soundproofing that they looked after exactly as needed. The onsite team were friendly, professional and accommodating. A great bunch of guys, that we felt very comfortable having in our home for 6 weeks. They pit down protective paper over our main floor hardwood, and installed zippered doors to keep the drywall dust down too. Very conscientious. We had weekly update and status reports that kept us in the loop in terms of progress to date, materials arriving, next steps and intended progress for the upcoming week. We are super happy with Juan and his team, and would absolutely recommend the Imperio team for anyone considering a renovation in their home.
